Crazy Weekend!!!!

Oh my gosh we had a crazy weekend. On friday Devins little brother got married. The wedding was at the salt lake temple and of course there was a snow storm. We had to get to the temple by 9:20(am) so at 8:10(am) we walked out the door. Traffic was ok until we hit point of the mountain. It was at a dead stop. Devin started getting mad saying "I told you we needed to leave at 7:30." I was thinking "Oh crap we are going to miss the wedding." So we sat there and sat there. We had a half hour to get there and we were only at 90th south. Then traffic started moving. It was a miricle. I guess people finaly remebered how to drive it utah snow and started driving. We made it to the temple with about 20 min. to spare and I even had time to feed Parker. The wedding was so great the sealer did a great job, and it was nice to be there with Devin and think back to when we got married.
Pictures went fast but we were still outside in the cold for about an hour. Parker looked so cold. I tried to keep him warm but his little face was freezing. We had lunch at the J.S.M building and it was great. They have good food.
While we were eating lunch my mom called and said that our new T.V. was being delivered to our house and that she would go and let the men in. I am so thankful that my mom is so sweet and will do things for me.
After the lunch we went to devins parents house to get dressed for the reception and to take a short nap. We laid down for about 20 min. then we all had to hurry and get ready.
We got to the reception at about 5:15 for pictures. It was fun to see all of the men dressed up in their tuxess and all the kids in their little outfits.
During the reception my sister calls me and tells me that my Grandma who had flown in town that day for my moms surprise B-day party on Saturday and tripped at the store and fell and broke her pelvis. I felt so so bad. She is an older woman and I worry that she wont recover good from this. She broke it in two places and will be in the Hospital for 5 days then she has to move to an assisted living center for 6 weeks. I hope that she gets better fast.
So I was worried about my grandma and as I said I was throwing my mom a surprise 50th b-day party the next day. Parker got tired of the reception at about 8:30pm and We got out the door at about 9:15pm to go home. We left early he needed to go to bed. So that ends my friday, bring on saturday.

Saturday: Well my grandma was suppost to take me to Costco but she was stuck in bed at the hospital so thankfully devins parents are great and his mother took me. I had a ton of food I had to get for the party. We did choc. fountains it was so great. Devins mom is so great she let me borrow all of her nice dishes and her center pieces from the wedding for the tables to look nice at the party. I am so mad I didnt get any picutures at the party. But Dev and I started setting up for the party at 5:00 and it was crazy. I am so greatful for devin. He watched Parker all day so I could go do the shopping, then he helped me set up all the tables, chairs, decoration, he cut up fruit, washed dishes, helped me make the chocalate, and then he helped me clean up the huge mess at the end. It was a great party. My mom was surprised and I think that she had fun. I wish I has a picture of how it looked. The decorations turned out so good.
Sunday it snowed again. We went to church, then had a super bowl party with all of our friends. It was great to spend time with everyone and it is so much fun when we all get together. I have to say thank you to the Baldwins for letting us all invade their house again. It was a great party.


I had a great weekend but I am so happy it is over. It was so much fun to spen time with our families and friends but it was to much for one weekend.
