Potty here we come!!!!

So if you did not guess I am potty training Parker today. It has gone good I think. He has had two accidents and gone about 10 times. So the numbers are with us. I have been putting him on every 20 min. I set a timer and when it goes off he just gets up and goes to the bathroom. He has gone every time except the two times he said he couldn't go but during the next 20 min to half hour is when he had his accidents. I am a little confused about how he will just know when he needs to go, and get up and go. I cant put him on for the next few months every 20 min. So I am not sure how this all works. I don't know if I just gradually do more and more time between putting him on the toilet or just after three days he will manically get it and just go when he needs to. This is a lot harder then you would ever think and they should give a class on how to do this. I also don't quite know how to explain to him how to do #2. He has yet to do it today and I know that he needs to the kid is like a clock. Lets just say he is a regular boy 97% of the time, but not today. I think that he needs to go he just doesn't want to go in the potty. So I am not sure how to get him to go. He cant hold it in forever and I don't want to put a diaper no him so that he will go. Well these are my thoughts for the day. It is sad when your thoughts are all about someone else's bowel movements or lack there of.
