STUCK!!!

Today I was eating my breakfast while Parker was playing in his new walker that he got from Christmas. As I was eating he started to cry, it was not his I want attention cry it was something is hurting me cry, so I looked over at him and he had the clip that hooks his binki to his clothes stuck in his mouth. It was the long way so it was stuck on the roof of his mouth and behind the new teeth that he got in about a month ago. I went running over to him because I thought that he had snapped the clip on his tongue. But when I got over I saw it was stuck. I tried to get it out but it would not move. I didn't know what to do. I had all of these flashes of having to take him to the ER and they would look at me like "What in the World". I tried to pull it out but it would not move and I didn't want to brake his teeth. So here is my child screaming with his mouth wide open and this plastic thing stuck in his mouth. I know this will sound funny but he was looking at me like "HELP MOM I CANT CLOSE MY MOUTH". Then I got the idea to push the bottom part to the side and it came right out. I picked him up out of the walker held him. It took him about five min. to stop the sad so upset crying but after that he was fine. So if any of you have these binki clips and a kid with a big mouth that can fit it in up and down please clip the stupid thing to there clothing after all that is the entire pointing of having the stupid thing in the first place.

That would be so scary! I totally panic in situations where my kids are in pain. You did so good! It must be all those years as a dental assistant, and all your experience working in peoples mouths! Good Job. I am adding you to my list of really cool people! So that I can stalk you!

Yikes!! I'm glad that you were able to get the binky clip out of his mouth! He was probably freaked out! Poor little guy!
Just be glad you weren't in the shower where you wouldn't be able to hear his pleas for help!
You are such a cute little mom. (And by the way, Cole was pretty sad that you and Devin are not his primary teachers this year!)
